Our life is an apprenticeship to the truth, that around every circle another can be drawn; that there is no end in nature, but every end is a beginning, that there is always another dawn risen on mid-noon, and under every deep a lower deep opens

Hello and welcome to this space which holds my love of community and reflection

After two years working in Fiji, I have now returned to Dja Dja Wurrung country in regional Victoria. I hope to stay for awhile. Let’s see. For now, putting down roots, being close to my growing family, digging in the soil, sitting and listening to the land feels just right

Here, you will find a little of my working journey including my role as Founder of the Pacific Women’s Network which is being co-created with an ever expanding team of supporters

And so to my writing

Leila and Sali was years in the making. The two of them sat on my shoulders chatting away for so long that I never wanted them to leave. A mixture of sadness and joie de vivre, Leila and Sali has brought a chapter to an end and much healing. I have more books in varying stages of progress and they are now clamouring for a little attention. I also scribble haiku at a moment’s notice – it is a habit I find good for the soul

My next adventure is The Writers Table, a reflective space for a community of writers, lovers of the land, and explorers of the moon and the southern stars that circle my campfire and all things poetic

This journey continues because in life there is no need for a full stop
